did i just spend the last 9+ hours watching all episodes of gangs of london? yes. am i mad @ myself for it? absolutely not. quite simply one of the BEST pieces of cinematography i think i’ve seen EVER. joe cole is SO underrated as an actor & he is genuinely THRIVING in that show. it’s so so refreshing to see him in something with a platform such as this & not have his skills be shit on. incredible.
Cover illustration for a magazine called “Metro Guide” being distributed thought metro stations in Tokyo from September 2017. Number of copies: around 1 000 000.
This edition is autumn themed so I tried to make my illustration fit the contents with the colors and atmosphere. I used the Jindaiji temple and the shops that surround it as an inspiration for the setting.
